IBKI Enterprises Limited · Dar es Salaam
One operating platform, built from Dar es Salaam. We distribute the consumer technology East Africa trusts, grade Tanzanian sisal for export, and move cargo across the region's corridors.
What we do
IBKI operates across four lines of business from a single Dar es Salaam base, with a shared smart-technology capability. Select a line to see how it works.
Graded Tanzanian sisal fibre, prepared for export buyers.
IBKI sources sisal fibre across Tanzania, grades it to the East African market classes and prepares it to buyer specification for export. As volumes grow we are extending into our own estate production.
The brands East Africa trusts, through every channel.
Consumer electronics, mobile devices and other categories the business takes on, sold through wholesale, business and projects, our brandshops, and online. Watu financing puts the monthly cost of an appliance within reach on mobile.
Cargo across the region's corridors.
Transit and loose cargo, bulk including coal, contract haulage, consolidation and distribution support across Tanzania's trunk corridors and cross-border.
What we carryHospitality with an East African soul.
IBKI's hospitality is operated under Sirii, a separate brand.

Agrobusiness
Grown across Tanzania's sisal belt, cut and decorticated, then dried and graded before it is baled for buyers. This is the crop IBKI is built to trade.
The export desk
IBKI sources sisal fibre through an established network across Tanzania's sisal belt, grades it to the East African market classes and prepares it to each buyer's specification for board, cordage, spinning and composites. As volumes grow we are extending into our own estate production.

Why sisal
Sisal is one of the few natural fibres where buyers want more than growers can supply, and Tanzania is at the centre of it.
