IBKI Enterprises Limited is an East African operating company, registered in Tanzania since 2018. We work across consumer technology, agro exports, logistics and hospitality, to standards our partners can rely on.
Overview
One operating platform, four verticals.
IBKI began in 2018 in satellite television, dishes and decoders. From that base we grew, deliberately, into a multi-vertical operator, adding new lines of business as we built the people and the systems to run them well.
Today IBKI is one operating platform across four verticals, supported by a shared smart-technology capability. In practice we are an import and export company: we import consumer technology and appliances for distribution across East Africa, and we export graded Tanzanian sisal fibre to international buyers.

Ibrahim A. Kiongozi is the Managing Director of IBKI Enterprises. He has advised the business as a consultant since 2018 and stepped into the managing director role full time in August 2025. A country business leader with more than eighteen years of experience across Tanzania, he directs the company across its verticals, with a focus on disciplined growth and long-term value.
His career spans senior commercial roles with leading multinationals. He led the consumer electronics business at Samsung Electronics East Africa, and the Haier business division in Tanzania. He has also held commercial leadership roles with Vodacom, Zain and MultiChoice, and earlier built greenfield agriculture, mining and logistics operations from concept through to production and export.
He holds a Master of Arts in Leadership and is a Certified Director of the Institute of Directors in Tanzania, with deep networks across government, regulatory, banking and trade stakeholders.
